Abstract
The article is based on the numerical simulation of the shock wave which caused by the jet flow in the launch box. For this kind of launch box, the two lips are opening when the missile is launching. By comparing the force on the four walls of the box and the two guides in which, we can get the parameters of the jet flow. Besides, the thermal effects and erosion effects are very important factors for the mechanical engineering, so the contours of temperature and pressure on different parts of the box are given to analysis the spreading process of the shock wave. The Standard κ–ε turbulence model is used. The conclusion is helpful for protecting the launch box when the missile is launched and improving the design scheme for the next generation.
