Hydric Model of Unsaturated Soils

Abstract

Salager et al. (2010) developed a model that simulates the behaviour of main drying curves of unsaturated soils including the density effect. The model provides good results, but contains a huge number of parameters. To reduce this number, we propose slight changes in the original model and the predictions are validated by comparison with existing experimental data.
