Abstract

Any cognition in the knowledge-production process is a model of ontological reality and this includes scientific and non-scientific characterization of knowledge where mathematics and symbolic logic occupy different positions. The model of the ontological reality is the epistemic reality. In terms of scientific cognition, Max Planck illustrates the formation of model of primary reality in terms of world pictures. He states: The scientific world picture or the so-called phenomenological world is not final and constant, but is in a process of constant change and improvement [R14.87, p. 90]. The phenomenological world is what is referred to in this monograph as epistemic reality which is defined in the epistemological space. The epistemic reality is the work of information and decision-choice process through cognitive input-output processing machine where information is the input and knowledge is the output.
