Abstract
This chapter contains a brief discussion of the plant communities of springs, lakes, marshes, and peat bogs. This vegetation develops in very wet habitats or even in water, in very particular ecological conditions. The flora is also very different from other communities due to the abundance of Cyperaceae and mosses.
