Zusammenfassung
Laut Ergebnissen der ersten nationalen Studie über nosokomiale Infektionen an deutschen Krankenhäusern (NIDEP) beträgt deren Häufigkeit 3,5%. Den größten Anteil bilden Harnwegsinfektionen mit 42% und Atemwegsinfektionen mit 21%. Die Häufigkeit postoperativer chirurgischer Wundinfektionen liegt etwa bei 15%.
