Da die Fortpflanzung seit jeher ein integraler Bestandteil des Lebens war, verwundert es nicht, dass sich auch in der Bibel Hinweise auf einen unerfüllten Kinderwunsch und »reproduktionsmedizinische Maßnahmen« finden.
