Abstract

Onze vereniging werd in 1979 opgericht door August Delaunois, René Bourgain, Johan Colle, Marc Peeters en Raoul Leclercq, met als doel de wetenschappelijke bijeenkomsten te organiseren en de resultaten hiervan bekend te maken. De stichters waren hoogleraren (fysiologie), ingenieur en ziekenhuisarts, wat nog steeds het meest voorkomend profiel is van onze leden.
