Zusammenfassung
Emotionsregulation ist unser tägliches Brot. Manchmal verbergen wir unsere Trauer, um nahestehenden Menschen Sorge und Kummer zu ersparen. Oder wir unterdrücken den Impuls, angesichts der Nachricht über die hervorragende Prüfungsnote laut zu jubeln und Luftsprünge zu machen, weil unsere Kommilitonin, die nicht bestanden hat, neben uns steht. Werden wir in einer Situation bedroht, werden wir unseren Ärger manchmal aufrechterhalten und sogar »künstlich« intensivieren, um zu signalisieren, dass wir keine leicht zu schlagenden Gegner sind.
