Zusammenfassung
Häufigste Indikation zur Hüftarthroskopie ist derzeitig die Therapie des femoroazetabulären Impingement (FAI) mit den sekundären Verletzungen am Knorpel und am Labrum acetabulare. Andere Indikationen sind z. B. synoviale Erkrankungen (Chondromatose, fokale pigmentierte villonoduläre Synovialitis [PVNS], septische Arthritis), posttraumatische Zustände (freie Gelenkkörper, Labrumeinrisse, Verletzungen des Lig. teres). In den letzten Jahren hat sich die Hüftarthroskopie auch zur Therapie periartikulärer Erkrankungen erweitert, z. B. bei Coxa saltans, Psoastendinose, Verletzungen der Sehne des M. gluteus medius u. a.
Die Koxarthrose ist keine Indikation zur Arthroskopie, sie kann in Einzelfällen nur vorübergehend eine Linderung der Beschwerden bringen.
