Fusionsdefekte bei der Vereinigung der medialen Nasenwülste, der Oberkieferwülste, des medianen Gaumenfortsatzes, der lateralen Gaumenfortsätze (Gaumenplatten) und des Nasenseptums. Störungen können eine oder beide Entwicklungsregionen total oder partiell, einseitig oder beidseitig betreffen. Dadurch Vielfalt von Spaltformen.
