Zusammenfassung
Die Untersuchung mittels der fMRT konfrontiert den Versuchsleiter aufgrund externer, aber auch interner methodischer Besonderheiten mit besonderen Untersuchungsbedingungen. Dies darf aber nicht dazu verleiten, experimentalpsychologisch wichtige Gütekriterien bei der Wahl und Umsetzung experimenteller Paradigmen außer Acht zu lassen. Hier – wie auch in anderem Kontext – beeinflusst die sorgfältige Wahl und Planung der Experimente sehr wesentlich die Ergebnisse. Die Möglichkeiten der Stimulusvorgabe und der Reaktionserfassung sollen im Folgenden vorgestellt und diskutiert werden. Im Anschluss daran werden die charakteristischen Formen des experimentellen Designs bei funktionell bildgebenden Untersuchungen erörtert. Allgemeine Planungshinweise können nur einen groben Anhalt liefern; eine intensive Beschäftigung mit inhaltlichen und methodischen Fragestellungen, den Charakteristika des interessierenden Konstruktes sowie der Messmethode ist bei der Realisierung experimentell valider funktioneller Magnetresonanzuntersuchungen unerlässlich.
