Zusammenfassung

Fehlbildungen und andere Erkrankungen der Speiseröhre im Kindesalter sind außerordentlich vielfältig. Für den Kinderchirurgen steht die rekonstruktive Ösophaguschirurgie im Vordergrund. Dem Erhalt des eigenen Ösophagus kommt hierbei eine wichtige Bedeutung zu. Allerdings ist das funktionelle Ergebnis maßgeblich für den chirurgischen Erfolg und die verschiedenen Ersatzverfahren sollten in ihrer Wichtigkeit nicht vernachlässigt werden.
