Abstract
The researcher implemented the cooperative learning method in the treatment class and at the same time used the traditional teacher-centered method in the controlled class, so as to test the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model in large class college English teaching. The result of this research shows that an active class atmosphere is created and the interactions between students are improved, and eventually it makes students in the treatment class get progress in their English learning.
