Abstract

The practice teaching is one of the most important aspects for students of civil engineering. Aiming at the theme of improving the practice ability and innovation ability of students, the basic status and problems of current civil engineering practice teaching are analyzed. The suggestions and methods of practice teaching reform of civil engineering are proposed contraposing the problems in teaching conception, teaching content, teaching method and evaluation system. The students could have a good learning environment through the laboratory construction on campus and the practice base construction in enterprise. According to learning capabilities of students, it is an individualized and effective teaching method to divide the experiments into three different levels such as basic experiment, comprehensive experiment and creative design experiment. The theory learning and the practice learning can combine truly through tracking mode exercitation which provides full access to the practice content for students. It can mobilize the enthusiasm and potential creative thinking of students to design barrier or new experiments and establish pluralistic evaluation system in practice teaching.
