Abstract
Traditional network management protocol SNMP focuses on polling and receiving trap, which causes relatively long time delay and increasing network bandwidth. Therefore, this paper designed and realized an event notification service based on Netconf. Through the experimental results, it shows that network could be monitored in real-time by using this service and demonstrates the potential of the proposed techniques, thus Netconf manager could manage network more effectively.
