Analysis of Subrefraction and Its Influence on Electromagnetic Waves Propagation

Abstract

Subrefraction is a abnormal refractive structure which appears in atmospheric environment, whose influence on electromagnetic waves propagation is opposite to that of evaporation duct. In this article the calculational methods of subrefractive profile is researched. By the method of emulating, the influence of subrefraction on electromagnetic waves propagation and its “anti-duct” characteristics are discussed. Finally using the experimental data obtained in Pintan Island of Fujian to validate the characteristics of subrefraction.
