Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff ″intrapartaler Ultraschall″ wird für die nicht invasive sonografischen Diagnostik unter der Geburt verwendet. Dieses Kapitel beschreibt den Einsatz der Sonografie zur Geburtsleitung und Operationsplanung, zur Prädiktion oder Erkennung von geburtshilflichen Komplikationen und zur Evaluation der Eröffnungs- und Austreibungsphase einschließlich der Diagnostik bei Notfällen. Hierzu zählen ferner die Beurteilung der Uteruswand einschließlich geburtsrelevanter Myome, die vorzeitige Plazentalösung und die Uterusruptur, die fetale Zustandsbeurteilung (Differenzierung eines suspekten CTG) sowie die Untersuchung des Fetus im kleinen Becken unter geburtsmechanischen Gesichtspunkten (Lage, Rotation, Höhenstand des vorangehenden Kopfes).
