Zusammenfassung
Antitussiva und Expektorantien werden bei Husten im Rahmen einer akuten oder chronischen Bronchitis angewendet. Dieses Symptom kann bei einer Reihe ätiologisch unterschiedlicher Krankheiten auftreten, die häufigste Ursache ist eine Virusinfektion in den oberen Atemwegen, wie sie bei Erkältungskrankheiten und Grippe vorkommt.
