Abstract

Focusing on the two problems of multiple peaks and overlong time which the receiver has to face in the acquisition process of L1C, a fast acquisition algorithm based on L1CA and L1C combined detection is presented in this paper. This new algorithm is implemented to remove multiple peaks by accumulating the autocorrelation peaks of the two signals coherently. In order to reduce the search realm of the code phase, a method “Pre-detection + Sub-search” was introduced in this new algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can not only reduce the search realm of the code phase significantly but also improve the acquisition sensitivity to some extend.
