Abstract
High precision pseudo-range delay simulation is one of the key techniques of satellite navigation signal simulator. This paper focuses on the theory and key technologies in generating navigation signal with high accuracy delay. The traditional pseudo-range simulation methods using DDS (Direct Digital Synthesizer) will produce the phase jitters and degrade precision. A novel implementation method of digital delay filter based on look-up table is proposed. Instead of utilizing multi-stage sampling rate conversion to realize digital delay filter, this method employs a simple architecture which is suitable for FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) implementation, and it can archive high precision. Simulations and receiver tests show the promising results and this method performs well.
