Abstract

As the effect of analog device on Satellite Payload, such as amplifier, mixer and filter, there will be distortion for the constant envelope signals, which would affect the performance of carrier tracking. To address this issue, this paper established the generic model for analyzing navigation signals channel characteristic and non-linear distortion, and conducted the relation between channel characteristic and PLL tracking error. Then, we analyzed the impact of channel characteristic on performance of Navigation Signals carrier tracking quantificationally. At last, the analysis result is verified in a software receiver for Galileo signals.
