Abstract
Organizational knowledge is an invaluable resource for business intelligence. However in practice it has not been easy to capture organizational knowledge and to apply it intelligently in future events. Based upon previous research within the field, we have identified the elicitation and codification of context as an area of research which could be highly beneficial to enhancing the application of a knowledge management system within an organization. Context, from a knowledge management system standpoint, provides a shared background that allows users to have a better idea of why a decision was made and increases the chances of an intelligent decision being made in the future. In this work, we propose a template which creates a uniform method to elicit and codify tacit knowledge from organizational players, within its context.
