Phase Measurement of Three-Phase Power Based on FPGA

Wireless Communications and Applications (ICWCA 2011)

Abstract

As the frequency of the three-phase power signal is instability and it contains multiple harmonics signal, the error can not be ignored when FFT algorithm applied to measure the phase directly. Although corrected by many correction methods such as ratio method, center of energy gravity method, etc. the precision of phase measurement is also severely influenced by harmonic signal. In order to solve these problems, the power phase measurement system is designed based on FPGA which embedded all-phase FFT algorithms. It realized the measurement of the phase with high accuracy, and the results indicate it almost immune to the harmonic and noise of power.
