Von Mises Uniform Distribution Inference for CPI of Shaanxi Province from 2006 to 2010 in China

Abstract

The uniformity of Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Shaanxi Province could be tested by using the Hodges-Ajine testing method. The result, that population is submitting to uniform distribution, was obtained. Correspondingly, the uniformity of CPI indicates that the general price level was tolerance although it increased in the past five years.
