Abstract
Taking into account the large steering shaft load of the commercial vehicle, this paper aims to design a commercial vehicle electric power steering system. Firstly, a framework of MC9S12XDP512-based hardware circuit design is presented, and then the high-power motor drive circuit and signal processing circuits are introduced in detail. In virtue of building the DC Motor reversible speed regulation system simulation models, the simulation results show that the assisted motor has been proven having a good torque response.
