Abstract

With the development of the electric power informatization, the problem of data integration is becoming more and more serious. Due to lack of overall planning and design, it is difficult to make system integration for the characteristics such as numerous information islands, heterogeneous database, and the low information integration level. In view of the above questions this paper has proposed a power system integrated research method based on ontology. This paper discusses the mapping between the Local Ontology and the data sources. Firstly we discuss how to convert from the relational database schema to OWL ontology, then give a corresponding conversion algorithm, finally the algorithm is proved to be feasible by an application example.

This work is supported by Hebei higher education science research plan funding subject of research on an integrated model of information resources based on ontology in the power system.
