Abstract

Practical teaching plays an important role in the process of cultivating talents of network engineering; it has a great significance on developing the innovation spirit and the practice ability of students. A great number of universities started research on the practical teaching system according to their characteristics currently. On the basis of analyzing the problems existed in the practical teaching of network engineering of our university, a practical teaching system was constructed and implemented in accordance with the actual conditions of our university and experiences of practical teaching reform in other universities, which aimed at cultivating “applied talents with strong competitive power and innovation spirit”. The practice proves that the system has achieved a good result in cultivating practical ability and innovative ability of the students.
