Abstract
Localization technology is one of the important supporting technologies in the Wireless Sensor Network. This paper promoted the original APIT algorithm by dividing the triangle into 3 small regions by lining from the centroid of the triangle to the mid-points of three sides of the triangle and determine the location of unknown node by testing the strength of the signal received by the three anchors of the triangle. Experiments prove that the algorithm improved the location accuracy by reducing the location area of original APIT algorithm. Through the centroid algorithm thoughts work out the unknown nodes’ estimates coordinates that can improve the location efficiency.
