Abstract

Theme-based learning refers to a way in which the students learn around one or more of the structured themes. As a new way, this kind of learning constantly has impacts on the traditional way. This paper combines the web2.0 technology development, focusing on the construction model of a new theme-based learning, with Django as bottom framework of Web, Python as the main developed language, and MySQL as the backend database. At the same time, the paper also combines theme-based online learning with open resources-sharing, in order to maximize initiative of user-learning, improve the access efficiency of resources and strengthen communication and collaboration between users. With these done, it will reflect the freedom and openness of Internet age.
