Abstract

A three-layered knowledge management system framework is presented including knowledge management and user management module. Personal knowledge and knowledge of whole department including digital copies of books, papers, patents and reports content can be managed. Strong authentication, access control and secure storage of knowledge is introduced. Symmetric cryptography and cryptographic devices are applied to the system for encryption and decryption.
