Abstract

Assessment and evaluation in radiology education have been an ongoing international discussion theme, particularly when it comes to defining the two concepts and implementing them. As medical institutions move towards audit culture, relevant stakeholders seek evidence of highly qualified health-care programs from patient care providers and institutions. This chapter aims to address quality assurance in radiology education by clarifying terminology regarding fundamentals of assessment and evaluation.
