Abstract

With a view to conducting targeted monitoring, protection and study on the wild birds around Qinghai Lake, this paper attempts to propose an identification system on the major species of wild birds around Qinghai Lake via morphology (DELTA and image retrieval) and molecular data (DNA barcoding), etc. which can specify the bird species in the area of Qinghai Lake in a fast and accurate way and provide multiple interfaces for the international systems of the same kind to achieve seamless integration. It is aimed at creating an efficient academic environment for scientists, which is also of great significance in science popularization.
