Abstract

For dynamic website based on browser/server mode, a general editor of data table was designed. Three parts called construction editor, structure editor and record editor were included in this general editor. The functions of data table building, structure modifying and record editing were finished by these editors respectively. The accessing of database was achieved by ADO method. The edition interface construction is similar to the procedure calling. Parameters such as table name, edition type and authority parameter table could be used in this procedure calling. Actual application shows that this general editor has advantages of function integration, uniform interface, visual operation and easy-to-use. This editor could be employed in the backstage management programs of the websites such as enterprise portal or news release.
