Abstract
The mathematic relationship of the current and overpotential per unit is established by seepage mechanics according to the electric conductance and Ohm’s law of the electrolyte in porous medium. The effective three-phase boundary length is defined and the one dimension overpotential mathematic model based on the porous medium theory in light of the mathematic model of the single pore electrode process is also built. This model can be used to calculate the theoretical output current and voltage.
