Abstract

Lifting algorithm doesn’t depend on the Fourier transform, reduces the computational complexity and it’s very suitable for hardware implementation. The hardware realization of 3-level lifting wavelet transform is introduced in the paper. It optimized the structure, and saved the Hardware resources more than 50% at the situation of speed priority and area priority.
