Abstract
Through analyzing the points of the vacuum circuit breaker with permanent magnet mechanism, which is high accuracy in the switching time (that means the phase accuracy when switching on or switching off the circuit breaker), and small dispersivity in the action time , the method to realize the phase-control circuit breaker is determined. As different kinds of loads characters are analyzed, it is discussed that when we use the phase-control circuit breaker and switching at the proper phases, and we can effectively reduce the inrush and cut down the switching over voltage in the electrical system, and also enhance the stability of the power unit.
