Abstract
Fieldbuses are more widely used in industry control system, but there does not have the standardized unique protocol among them. Thus, the different fieldbuses can not communicate directly in the same network. To solve the problem, we proposed an implement method of gateway between Profibus-DP and CAN based on STM32, and applied it in fault location system of belt conveyor. This paper emphatically describes the operation principle of the fault location system, the hardware and software design method of the gateway. The practical result shows that the gateway works stably and reliably in this system and has a high application value.
