Abstract

The research of knowledge discovery and data acquisition is an interdisciplinary area focusing upon methodologies for extracting useful knowledge from data. Ontologies present two main advantages for practitioners: the knowledge contained in ontology is shareable and reusable, so the same ontological content can be used in different tasks and applications. In this paper ontologies will be the knowledge discovering and data acquisition technology, and performance measurements will be based on ontology-related activities. Finally, knowledge discovering and data acquisition information management system in E- Commerce is proposed based on ontology. The experimental results indicate that this method has great effective promise.
