Abstract
A non-isolated high step-up zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) DC-DC converter with voltage multiplier cells is presented in this paper. The input stage of the proposed convert is a boost converter in a continuous conduction mode. Therefore, the input current is continuous and low ripple. Voltage multiplier cells are stacked on the output of the boost converter input stage to provide high voltage gain. Due to soft-switching characteristic of the switches, the switching loss is significantly reduced and the overall efficiency is improved. A prototype of the proposed converter is developed, and its experimental results are presented for validation.
