A Detection Method of Iron Ore Pipeline Transportation Leak Point Positioning

Abstract

The paper introduces a fix-point detection method of iron ore transportation pipeline leak point. Once leakage occurs during the transportation of mineral, it is great harmful to the ecological environment and the pipeline running. As a result, when the pipeline is running, it is so significant to detect the leakage precisely in time that enterprise can shorten the response time and reduce the damage and loss caused by leakage. The paper depicts a fix-point method of transportation pipeline leak point mainly based on stress variation rate method and mass balance method. It is proved in practice that this method can exactly judge the leak point positioning within 10m precision. This method is feasible and available, with the application value of widely popularizing.
