Abstract
This study aimed at investigating the degree of using computer applications in teaching and learning among Science Teachers at Irbid Directorate of Education and the obstacles they face. A questionnaire consisted of 30 items (five point likert scale) was constructed, validity using panel of judges and reliability using CronbachAlpha for internal consistency were conducted and found suitable for this questionnaire. Means, standard deviations and ANOVA were used according to the variables of the study .The results of the study showed that there is a lack in using computer applications among Science Teachers at Irbid Directorate of Education and they showed different sources of obstacles in using computer applications. The recommendations of this study were in equipping science teachers with knowledge and practice on how to deal with these programs and establishing a new computer laboratories and buying more and software.
