Abstract

In this paper we present a procedure that uses different standard softwares and modeling techniques together. Through this technique a student can see how Finite Element Analysis, Computer Aided Design, Numerical Calculation and Circuit Simulation Tools can be used together for solving an electronic component modeling and simulating procedure. As an example of Integrated Computer Science and Education an application to the modeling of inductors with ferrite cores for power electronic circuits is presented.
