Abstract

With the improvements of the life, the variety of food can not satisfy people’s life, and the safety of food would be a hot spot. Currently in China, the pesticide is also the major factor of the food safety, so the requirement of food analysis instrumentation becomes more and more imperative.

The main topic of this article is about a multi-channel pesticide residues detector. This system is based on the theory that enzyme inhibition rate –UV/VIS spectrophotometry. Through detecting the inhibition of pesticide working on enzyme, we can change it into the degree of the pesticide residues. We can also change it into the levels which can represent the danger of pesticide works on human’s body in order to help people away from harm.

This system is integrated by optoelectronic technology, sensing technology, microelectronics technology, micromachining technology, PC and food safety detection.
