Abstract

This paper introduces a monitoring system based on AVR microcontroller, whose hardware adopts AVR microcontroller with 8-bit,and software utilizes μC / OS - II of real-time multitask operating system which is open- source , to collect and monitor the various of electric signals and thermal signals such as voltage, current, or some other voltage signals which is changed by thermal resistance or thermocouple. Then these data can be sent to the remote distributed control system (DCS) by RS-485 bus. The system has a long-distance communication and anti-jamming capability, which improved the reliability of the communication, and can be widely used in industrial fields.
