Abstract

In the reservoir optimal operation, there are large quantities of uncertain and imperfect factors existing in the inflows. Rough Set theory, which quite fineness in dealing with fuzzy and imperfect problems, is a powerful tool in data mining, knowledge discovery and artificial intelligence. Compared with general optimized results determined only by water level and inflow of reservoir in current time, the rule based on Rough Set is of greater flexibility and electrical energy because of which can imply information out of the decision.
