An Inversion Algorithm of Particle Size Measurement Based on Angle Scattering

Abstract

Angle scattering is a method to obtain particle size distribution by reading Mie scattering intensity signals at various space angles of particles, which has many advantages such as high accuracy, wide measurement range. To improve applicability in particle size measurement, an inverse solution for particle size measurement using angle scattering based on genetic algorithm is presented, specific steps of the algorithm are given. Results of the simulation indicated, inversion result of the algorithm was almost the same as the given particle size distribution, the proposed algorithm had better applicability than traditional inverse algorithm.
