Abstract
In order to create semantic valence dictionary, in which semantically related syntactic verb schemata are connected, the information of diathesis alternations of verbs is needed. In this paper, first experiments concerning a method of automatic detection of alternation base on similarity between semantically interpreted (by means of selectional preferences) verb frames are presented.
