Zusammenfassung
Nosokomiale Infektionen gehören zu den häufigen Komplikationen der neurologischen Frührehabilitation. Sie erhöhen Morbidität und Mortalität, schränken die therapeutischen Maßnahmen ein und verlängern die Aufenthaltsdauer. Der Mehraufwand an Diagnostik und Behandlung ist mit Mehrkosten verbunden. Das Auftreten von multiresistenten Erregern kann die Rehabilitation zusätzlich verkomplizieren. Hieraus ergibt sich

einerseits die Notwendigkeit einer guten hygienischen Grundversorgung aller Rehabilitanden in jeder Situation bei Pflege, Therapie und Diagnostik,
-
andererseits die Notwendigkeit spezieller Maßnahmen bei Auftreten multiresistenter Erreger.
