Abstract
Is it possible to talk about many sciences or by doing so do we risk opening up dangerous gulfs in the principle of demarcation between science and non-science? If we identify specific epistemologies among the various empirical sciences, from Physics to Archaeology, is it possible to continue to assert the epistemological unity of scientific knowledge? And what is the position of economics in this classification?
