Reibradgetriebe oder auch Wälzgetriebe sind analog zu Zahnradgetrieben mit Stirn- oder Kegelrädern gleichförmig übersetzende Getriebe, die primär der Leistungswandlung dienen, d.h. der Übertragung und Änderung von rotatorischen Bewegungen und Drehmomenten hinsichtlich Betrag und Richtung.
